One of my life's 'ToBeDo' items was to take the two magnificent contemporary stained glass windows in our church and translate them to a fabric medium. As chance would have it, our church is being sold this year so it is timely that I completed the first of two windows just as settlement is drawing near. At least we can take the window with us to our new home in Magnolia New Jersey!
The fabric stained glass measures about 33 x 44" and will be included in the Procession of Church banners at our Diocesan Convention in March. The robes of the followers in Christ Feeding Multitudes used your Cherrywood Fabrics.
I have collected packets and grab bags of your fabrics for a few years and could only look and touch the fabrics as I knew I wanted to something very special with them.
I am now in the process of starting the second in this two-series project. I will be coming to the Mancuso New Jersey Quilt Festival on Saturday, March 6 and am looking forward to meeting you all at that time!
Sincerely,
Jane Bliss
