We're still in California

It's raining here this morning.  That's ok.  We will just rest up before we go home in the morning.  The Ayres Hotel is a nice place to stay. 

I still have more pictures, so here's a couple.

I couldn't resist this as I was walking around on Saturday.Rachel was hard at work!  A new idea had popped into her head.  It was fun to see her and can't wait to see what she does with that Cherrywood Fabric she took home!

Here was my show girls for Road to California.  I just love to call them show girls!   
You will recognize Kathy.  She does alot of shows with me and used to work at Cherrywood when we are home.  She retired a year ago but stil travels with me.  She will be going to Hampton next month.  Donna, on the right, is from Ontario.  She worked for us last year at this show and came back!  What a sweetie!  We were lucky to have her.  

 

Road to California

What a great time to leave Minnesota and head to Ontario, California for a quilt show.  Road to California is one of my favorite shows.  I'm sure it has nothing to do with leaving the freezing cold and snow of Minnesota!

Preview night on Wednesday was wonderful.  After setting up our booth in the afternoon we headed back over to the convention center to view the quilts.  Look at what is playing in the background while you are viewing these wonderful quilts.

What a great idea!  It was so relaxing after a day of hard labor setting up the Cherrywood booth.  And talk about great quilts.  Here is some we found made with Cherrywood.  What a thrill to see our fabrics in such beautiul quilts.  This first one is White Buffalo Calf Woman Rhopsody.  It was made by Janice Potter of Scottsdale, AZ.  How fun it was when she stopped in the booth later in the week. She said it was all Cherrywood except for one piece of Ricky Timms fabric.

Here is Snowball's Chance by Georgeanne Kandler and Sharon Murphy of Seattle.  Karla had helped them with 12 different shades of gray for the background for their snowballs of color.

 
There were more which I will try to post later.  Kathy and I are not flying home until Tuesday morning.  We are hoping to enjoy a day by the pool Monday.  Please rain, wait until we leave!
