First there was Metropolis.. a little town in southern Illinois on the way to Paducah, KY. Metropolis is the "Home of Superman" and has a very large statue of the famous super hero downtown.
Then there was "Quilt Man" running around during Quilt Week in Paducah. We saw his sidekick, Bobbin, fly past us but were in too much shock to grab our cameras. The next day this man swooped into the Rotary Quilt Show and I was ready. I just happened to be wearing our own Cherrywood version of a super cape... its a vest made out of rayon actually, but it is sure fun to wear. I even had my superboots on.
Did anybody else see this masked man running around Paducah last month??
